On March 4, 2025, Dr. Kanjana Kwanmuang, Deputy Secretary General of the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE), along with Ms. Hirunya Srasom, Director of the International Agricultural Economics Division and staff from the International Agricultural Economics Division, participated in the Workshop on Asia-Pacific Information Platform (APIP) using GEN AI at Gyeongju, Republic of Korea.
The workshop aimed to develop the APIP platform, which is an online platform for exchanging information on food security in the Asia-Pacific region. The platform will incorporate GEN AI technology to enhance access to information, strengthen private sector participation, and increase the resilience of food systems in the Asia-Pacific region.
